2020 Winter Property Tax Bill Collection Information
As we continue another tax collection season with Covid-19, here are few suggestions to keep yourself safe and contact free while paying taxes - consider -
1. Mailing in taxes or
2. Using the drop box on the exterior of the Township Hall/Fire Station (see below).
All tax bills are due by February 16, 2021 at 5:00pm. Penalty due (3%) after February 16, call for amount due before making paying after that date. All tax bills and payments will be processed when received. The State of Michigan does not allow local governments to accept postmarks (Payment must be received by due date)!

-December 28, 2020 - 9:00am to 5:00pm
-January 9, 2021 - 9:00am to 12:00pm
-January 23, 2021 - 9:00am to 12:00pm
-February 6, 2021 - 9:00am to 12:00pm
-February 15, 2021 - 9:00am to 12:00pm
-February 16, 2021 - 9:00am to 5:00pm (Last day to pay without 3% penalty)
-February 20, 2021 - 9:00am to 12:00pm (With 3% penalty)
-February 27, 2021 - 9:00am to 12:00pm (With 3% penalty)
-March 1, 2021 - 9:00am to 5:00pm (With 3% penalty)

Other Important Information from the Treasurer
-All returned checks will be charged a $35.00 NSF fee.
-Receipts will be returned upon request. Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with the entire tax bill.
-If you are selling this property, either return the bill to the Township with a note indicating the sale information or take it with you to the closing. NEVER THROW AWAY A TAX BILL!
